The 15th Australian Nitrogen Fixation Conference
8th to 13th November, 2009
Margaret River, Western Australia
Dear Colleagues,
The 15th Australian Nitrogen Fixation Conference brings together researchers from Australasia and around the world to share current research and to establish and maintain research collaborations in the field of nitrogen fixation and associated rhizosphere organisms. This meeting seeks to discuss research on the genetics, biochemistry, regulation, physiology, ecology, and evolution of the nitrogen-fixation process, the interactions between microbes and plants and the search for new agronomically relevant symbioses for Australian agricultural systems.
The town of Margaret River is located 270km south of Perth in the heart of one of the SW wine growing regions, renowned as one of the world's great fine wine producers. There are some 200 vineyards in the region, which also boasts stunning beaches, majestic forests, and spectacular caves. The meeting will be held at the All Season Margaret River Resort, which is located within walking distance of the town centre and just minutes from the Beach.
